Welcome to Career Life Connections 12! This CE course is an opportunity to show learning related to your current and future career.
Career means more than just a "job" - it is a person's entire journey from school and activities they do as a young adult, to their entry into the workforce, their pursuit of higher education or training, and all of the people they meet and skills they develop along the way.
We no longer live in a world where most people have one single job or work in one company or even industry for their whole lives. So, I encourage you to take the pressure of the idea of finding "exactly the right fit" from the start. Instead, think about each experience in your career as giving you new information about what you like and don't like in a job; what you're good at, what you could learn, or what you think doesn't fit.
When choosing the next step in your career, it can help to explore who you are, what matters to you, and where you want to go next. So, throughout the course, you will reflect on your strengths, interests, values, skills, and experiences while exploring education, career, and life opportunities.
You will develop skills to make informed decisions about your future, set meaningful goals, and connect your learning to the world beyond high school. CLC 12 is about discovering possibilities, planning for your future, and building confidence in the choices you make.
